About me….
My name is Ryan and I’m local to the Winter Garden area. My passion for fishing really began in New Jersey where I caught my first striper in the Raritan River at age 8, and I’m 14 now. My fishing addiction truly began there but now living in Central Florida really helped me expand that. I catch bass and blue gill all the time – they’re my go-to daily. At night I’ll hook some gar and catfish too. When I travel down to Miami I’m looking for the peacock bass and then down to the Keys for Snapper, Bonita, Mahi and of course, always chasing the Tarpon!
I really love my hobby and want to teach younger children about the magic of fishing – how it helps clear your mind, teachers you patience and is always my happy place. I’ve become really great at understanding lures, knots, lines, rods, bait, structure and more – and I’d like to share my knowledge with little kids too and get ‘em hooked into this amazing world that’s away from tech, phones and gaming and immerse them into all that Florida fishing has to offer.
